Private Investigator & Empath Azreala Rutgers has finally gotten a bit of long-overdue breathing room and she is loving it!

The P.I. agency started by her Dad that she has had to run single-handedly, Stranger than Fiction Investigations is doing so much better since the addition of her new hire, Ian the werewolf.
Her Psychic Medium Dad is back on the sobriety wagon, Thanks to a little ghost possession.
And with Ian's help, Azreala just might be able to pay the building taxes on time and keep food in the fridge...... and coffee on the table, of course. Life was looking up.

Then she takes a late-night call from her overly friendly vampire pal Harper and her world is flipped upside down with the new information about an old family tragedy that he gives her. Oh, and Ian has managed to run afoul of a nasty coven of dark witches out on the East Coast who arent above offing anyone who gets on their bad side.

Time to call up her Witchy pal Angie and schedule a seance, because the dead have so many more answers!
